Billing & Insurance
Payment is due at the time of service, and can be made by cash, check, health savings or flex savings accounts (HSA/FSA), or debit or credit card (all major cards accepted).
Dr. Ferguson is in-network with the following health health insurance plans. She is also a participating provider for most Medicaid and Medicare plans managed by these insurance companies. Please verify that Dr. Ferguson is participating with your specific plan by visiting your insurance company's provider directory. Copayment, coinsurance, or deductible amounts are due at the time of service.

If Dr. Ferguson does not accept your insurance, however, she will submit out-of-network claims to insurance on your behalf (if you would like to use your insurance benefits) so that you can receive reimbursement payments directly from your insurance company. Alternatively, she can provide you with a superbill if you prefer to submit to insurance on your own. Please contact your insurance provider ahead of time to determine whether you are covered for out-of-network mental health services, whether an authorization is required, and provide them with the CPT codes that correspond to the services you are requesting (see below). Asking the following questions will also be helpful:
- Do I have out-of-network benefits for behavioral health services? (See the CPT code chart below.)
- Do I require pre-authorization to see someone out-of-network? If so, how can I obtain an authorization?
- What is my out-of-network deductible? How much of it have I met? What is my copay or coinsurance?
- What amount will I be reimbursed for these services?
